This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for donations, fundraising contributions, and product purchases made through The MCKK Foundation website.
Donations and Fundraising Contributions
All donations and fundraising contributions made to The MCKK Foundation are generally final and non-refundable.
This includes:
- One-time donations
- Project or campaign donations
- Endowment Fund contributions
- General donations
- Monthly donation payments that have already been successfully charged
Once a donation has been successfully processed, it is treated as a completed contribution to The MCKK Foundation's charitable and fundraising purposes.
Monthly Donations
For monthly donations, cancellation will stop future scheduled contributions where applicable.
Cancellation of a monthly donation does not automatically refund previous successful payments.
If you believe a monthly donation was made in error or charged incorrectly, please contact us for review.
Duplicate or Error Payments
We may review refund requests only in limited situations, such as:
- Duplicate donation payment
- Incorrect amount entered by mistake
- Technical payment error
- Unauthorised transaction report
- Administrative correction required
Approval of any refund is at The MCKK Foundation's discretion and may require supporting documents or payment verification.
Product Purchases
This section applies only to product purchases made through our website shop, where applicable.
Products may be eligible for return or exchange only if:
- The item is defective or damaged upon receipt
- The wrong item was delivered
- The item is unused and in its original condition
- The request is made within 30 days from the date of receipt
Products must be returned in their original packaging where applicable.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return or refund:
- Donations and fundraising contributions
- Downloadable or digital products
- Gift cards or vouchers
- Items that have been used, damaged, or altered by the customer
- Sale or clearance items, unless defective
- Items returned more than 30 days after receipt
Refund Process for Products
If your product return is approved, we will notify you after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Processing time may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, such as a wrong or defective item.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law or approved by The MCKK Foundation.
